Galapagos: Central Adventure

Galapagos: Central Adventure
Set off on a remarkable 5-day expedition through the heart of the Galapagos Islands, discovering breathtaking volcanic landscapes, pristine beaches, and rich wildlife. Visit world-famous sites such as Bartolome, South Plazas, Santa Fe, and San Cristobal Highlands. Along the way, snorkel alongside sea lions and turtles, hike dramatic lava fields, and encounter unique species like penguins, land iguanas, and giant tortoises. Every day unveils new adventures and showcases the extraordinary biodiversity that makes the Galapagos Islands one of the most magical destinations on Earth.

Day by day

Day 1 : Santa Cruz Island: Bachas Beach

Upon landing at Baltra Airport, you will meet your guide and head to the first destination: Bachas Beach on Santa Cruz Island. This peaceful beach, with its powdery white sand and tranquil lagoons, tells a story of wartime history and natural beauty. You may spot the remnants of WWII barges along the shore and observe flamingos, herons, and marine iguanas nearby. Sea turtles often nest in this area between November and May. As you stroll, keep an eye out for the vibrant birdlife that populates this serene, photogenic coastline — a perfect introduction to the Galapagos.

Day 2 : Bartolome Island & Santiago Island: Sullivan Bay

Start the morning with an exhilarating hike to the summit of Bartolome Island, where surreal volcanic landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see. Pinnacle Rock rises dramatically from the turquoise waters, and the rugged surroundings feel almost extraterrestrial. Afterward, snorkel among playful penguins, reef sharks, rays, and schools of colorful fish. In the afternoon, step onto Sullivan Bay’s lava fields, where you can walk across smooth Pahoehoe formations that look like frozen rivers. Here, life clings to the rocks, with lava lizards and pioneer plants making a tough existence amid the volcanic desolation.
