Day by day

Day 1 : Baltra Island & Santa Cruz Island: Bachas Beach

AM

After flying in from Quito or Guayaquil, we will land on the island of Baltra around noon (local time). Our guide will meet us in the lobby and escort us to the Yacht Anahi. A crew member will take care of our luggage, transporting it directly to the yacht via small Zodiacs. Once aboard the Yacht Anahi, the captain and crew will welcome us and assign our cabins. Following lunch, our guide will provide a brief overview of the afternoon activities.

PM: Bachas Beach

The sand here is made of decomposed coral, giving it a very white and soft texture, and it is a popular nesting site for sea turtles. We can visit a small lagoon where we might spot flamingos, black-necked stilts, and thrushes. Additionally, we will see two old barges abandoned during World War II, sea lions resting on the beach, marine iguanas, and seabirds. We will have some time to enjoy the tranquility of the beach and interact with the playful sea lions swimming with visitors.

At 7 pm, we will have the official welcome followed by a delicious dinner. After dinner, our guide will brief us on the next day's activities.

Day 2 : Genovesa Island: Darwin Bay & Prince Philip's Steps

AM: Darwin Bay

This location is breathtaking because of the numerous seabirds nesting in the mangroves that dominate the area. Here, we can observe red-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, storm petrels, seabirds, Darwin's finches, mockingbirds, and the endemic Galapagos pigeon.

PM: Prince Philip's Steps

We will climb 25 meters of stairs at one of the top bird nesting sites on the islands. We will also have the chance to enjoy a panga ride, snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking.
