Alya Catamaran Galapagos Cruise Programs

The Alya catamaran Galapagos cruises offer travelers a choice of four, five and eight day routes visiting the most important islands and their visitor sites in the Galapagos archipelago. For passionate nature travelers it is possible to combine itineraries and enjoy 12, 13 and even 15 day loops without repeating sites. Each itinerary is well balanced and offers both nature walks and snorkeling opportunities on a daily basis. Sea Kayaking, zodiac rides and nature lectures are other activities the fill out the daily agenda.

Alya Catamaran infrastructure

Extremely spacious for a 16-passenger boat, after a full day of excursions, guests have the choice to relax in the library viewing a movie from the DVD collection, or on the sundeck while enjoying a drink from one of the catamaran’s two bars. Sitting at the bow during navigations creates the opportunity to watch dolphins swimming in front of the boat. This is quite common on the western island programs. The gastronomy on board reflects the diverse Ecuadorean cuisine with interactive experiences such as the anual lobster festival held from July to November when these crustaceans are in season. The chef on board ensures all dietary needs are met with options for vegetarian, vegan and other preferences.

As the night sets in guests are able to retire to rest  in one of the nine pleasant cabins, eight of which have private balconies - the perfect place to enjoy sunrises and sunsets in understated luxury, privacy and feeling the ocean breeze. All are equipped with private bathrooms, cold/hot water, air conditioning, safe box and other amenities. Throughout, the Alya is elegantly and tastefully decorated.

    Excellent comunication
Each detail of the Alya cruise was scheduled, communicated, and delivered just the way it was promised to us. Francisco was a great planner and communicator. To top it off, our adventure experiences were memorable and super exciting.

    Problems with solutions
Our luggage didn’t arrive with our international flight, and next day we had the flight to Galapagos. The crew helped us to buy some stuff, it was nothing short of great. We could enjoy the trip, the different activities in the itinerary, including hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling. Even better, after the days’ voyages, I would relax at the library enjoying a movie from a vast DVD collection. Our luggage arrived the last day of the cruise, but we had the necessary to enjoy every moment there.
